Who: You!
Why?: The census can shape many different aspects of our community. Each year, the results help determine how more than $675 billion in federal funding is distributed to states and communities. It also helps to determine how much representation we get in Congress and the Maryland General Assembly. Baltimore County needs each household to complete the Census by Sept. 30th or we risk losing thousands of dollars in critical funding for our community. For each household NOT counted we lose $18,000 that could fund-

What: We’ve learned that parts of our District haven’t been counted yet. We need your help to spread the word! Please join us to (safely!) canvass the community to encourage everyone to complete their census.
When: Sunday, September 13th 1:00 pm-4:00 pm (or as long as you can stay)
Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing as we will be outdoors. We will supply water, snacks, and training prior to canvassing.
Hand sanitizer, masks, gloves will be provided – masks must be worn at all times and 6 ft physical distancing will be adhered to throughout the day.
