The Maryland Department of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Maryland Small Business COVID-19 RELIEF Grant Program. The grant offers working capital to assist certain Maryland small businesses with disrupted operations due to COVID-19.
Please note: businesses that primarily sell goods or offer services that require collection of sales & use tax are not eligible for this program.
To apply for this program, you must first create an account here. Once you have an account, you will receive an email with a link to the application and be asked to login.
Commerce will accept applications from March 30 through April 6 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Funding is extremely limited and may ultimately result in approval on a first-come, first-served basis. The application process will be open for a limited period, and Commerce anticipates substantial interest in this program. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Additional Relief Act funding is available from Commerce and through each Maryland county and Baltimore City. Information about other forms of assistance, such as other state, federal and county programs being offered throughout Maryland, can be found on the Department of Commerce website.
